About Robert Goleman 

Robert has been singing, acting, and performing magic for over fifty years. It began with a magic kit at the age of 7, practicing on family and friends, to his highly acclaimed illusion shows: “An Evening with the Fabulous Blendos”, and “There is Magic in the Air, with the Fabulous Blendos” - performing to enthusiastic, sold-out crowds. Robert is well known on the coast for his musical and magical talents, as well as for his former nursery “Hortus Botanicus”, and for being an accomplished chocolatier, chef, and purveyor of fine desserts.

Other credits include performances with the Mendocino Music Festival, Symphony of the Redwoods, Opera Fresca, and The Gloriana Opera Company. His list of roles includes: Both Charlie Brown and Schroeder in “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown”, Koko in “The Mikado”, Samuel in “The Pirates of Penzance”, The Padre in “Man of La Mancha”, B. F. Pinkerton in “Madama Butterfly”, Gabriel Von Eisenstein in “Die Fledermaus”, Freddie Einsford Hill in “My Fair Lady”, Albert Peterson in “Bye, Bye Birdie”, The Baker in “Into the Woods”, Count Carl Magnus Malcolm in “A Little Night Music”, Frank in “Showboat” (featuring magic), Mr. Snow in “Carousel”, Martin in “The Tender Land”, and a celebrated performance as Albin/Zaza in “La Cage aux Folles” (The Birdcage).
